Why Tracer exists
Thousands of tokens launch on pump.fun every day. On the chart, many look organic. The first block tells a different story: a few wallets, often funded from the same source, buy half the supply before anyone else can click. They wait for real buyers, then dump. When people start checking, they move tokens to fresh wallets so the holder list looks clean.
We built Tracer because we were tired of finding out too late. Most scanners hand you raw numbers. Tracer reads the launch block, follows the dev, follows bundle wallets even when they hide their tokens, and tells you what it means in plain words. It stays free, because everyone deserves to see the trap before they step in.
Meet Hoot
Owls see in the dark. Most of the market only sees the chart. Hoot sees the wallets behind it. The Tracer community is made of traders who would rather look before they ape.
Our promise
- Clean launch. No bundle and a small dev buy. Scan us with Tracer yourself.
- No team snipers. The team does not bundle or snipe our own launch.
- Free forever. The scanner stays free for everyone.
- Same rules for every token, including ours.

What Tracer checks
Every scan follows the token from its first block to today.
- Bundled launch buys
- Wallets that bought in the exact launch block, how much they took and how much they still hold.
- Snipers
- Fast buyers in the first few blocks after launch, often bots or insiders.
- Dev activity
- What the dev bought, sold or sent away, how fast they sold and how many other tokens they launched.
- Hidden transfers
- When bundle wallets move tokens to fresh wallets instead of selling, Tracer follows them and still counts that supply as held.
- Funding links
- Wallets that got their first SOL from the same source, a common sign of one person running many wallets.
- Liquidity and price
- What is left in the pool and how far the price is from its all-time high.
- Verdict
- "Major sell-off" means wallets that bought in the launch block sold 20% or more of the supply and the price fell 70% or more, or the pool was emptied. A dev wallet selling is shown on its own as "Large dev sale". Verdicts describe on-chain activity, not anyone's intent.
- Bubble map
- A visual map of holders, bundles and the funding links between them.
